Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    It's whataburger so the food is what you'd expect but everytime I eat at this specific location I get diarrhea.

    We are typically regular customers at this Whataburger location, which is why tonight’s experience was especially disappointing. After waiting approximately 20 minutes in the drive-thru, we noticed that several vehicles that arrived after us had already received their orders. We then went inside to inquire about the delay and were informed that our order had been made incorrectly, removed from the screen, and never corrected. As a result, we were asked to place a new order. We waited an additional 10 minutes and ultimately received an order that was still incorrect. While a large fry was provided in place of the two medium fries we received instead of the two large fries we ordered, there was little acknowledgment of the inconvenience or any meaningful apology.

    This is on a rating scale for fast food, not five star restaurants. Whataburger is my personal favorite out of the big fast food burger places, so I'm biased there. You get a satisfying amount of food for the price and the burgers are packed with plenty of veggies and tomato slices. You can customize your burger and add your own ingredients or leave stuff out, if you prefer. In my opinion, this is the best Whataburger in town. The food is always fresh when I eat here, wait times are consistsnt, and they've never messed up my order. There was an odd couple of weeks where the fries tasted like they were fried in older oil but, that's no longer the case. If it happens, just let someone know and ask for a fresh batch. It's clean enough for a Whataburger where people are always coming and going. Restrooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and it's usually quiet and relaxed, despite a variety of patrons. From people on their lunch break to whole families coming here and eating together. If you like Whataburger, come to this one.

    If I could give this whataburger a ZERO , I would . Everytime I come to this location , they forget something from my order, food be cold and order be wrong . If I want my food fresh from this location, I have to come in the morning Smh. In the afternoon towards the evening they got NOTHING but kids in there playing and laughing and not making orders right . They forgot my drink, all 4 of them. I had to ask the manager about them. Then I had to take the food inside the restaurant and ask could they give us hot fries. The chicken strips and burgers were barely warm. My burger was made incorrectly, like I knew it would be. This whataburger needs the GM to be present to see how this store is being ran. Not happy and I will never be back to this location 🚮.
