It wasn't until half way through my checkout that i realized and felt terrible for slowing down the process. But the, employee was selfless and was very generous to help me get through the line and ease my worries by being extra quick. Great service and big shout out to Justin, great leadership.

My boyfriend and I were shopping here just earlier and while we were looking for some silverware, an employee, Navy, overheard us discussing where it would be and went out of her way to help us. Apparently, the only way to experience H-E-B is to have a father/grandfather who actually remembers you exist. For example, Craig Poling somehow manages to mail gifts to his son’s EX-wife and biological grandchild, but his actual son and step-grandsons? Apparently they’re outside the H-E-B delivery radius. 😂 Graduations for his daughter-in-law’s kids? ❌ Nope. Birthdays for his daughter-in-law’s kids? ❌ Nope. An amazing H-E-B ham for a birthday? ❌ Nope. But sneaking into Florida for the second time, not contacting his own son, going about 10 minutes down the road, picking up ONE of his three grandsons while taking his WIVES two biological grandchildren from Texas? ✔️ Apparently THAT made the shopping list. My kids? Backordered. And somehow we’re supposed to believe this has nothing to do with favoritism. Sure. 😂 The irony gets even better: I’ve been 15 years sober from heroin and crack, but apparently because I use cannabis, Craig decided I’m “not sober.” Meanwhile, apparently drinking and THC mints are perfectly acceptable depending on who is holding them. Interesting definition of sobriety. 😂 So, H-E-B, this review isn't really about your ham, cards, or groceries. Because honestly, y’all probably ARE as amazing as everyone says. If we ever make it to Texas, it’ll be for H-E-B itself. Not for Craig. Not for Wendy. Not ever. H-E-B gets five stars. The family customer-service department, however, needs some serious retraining. 😂 P.S. H-E-B: If you ever wonder why Texans rave about you, apparently it’s because your ham has better follow-through than some grandparents. ♡ - Polings in Florida
