I wanted to leave a review specifically for Rick and Blanca because they have genuinely made me a regular at this location. I already love Chipotle and go pretty often, but I actually go out of my way to come to this specific location because of them. Every time I come in, they make a point to ask me how my day has been or how my week is going. If they haven’t seen me in a while, they’ll even ask where I’ve been or if I’ve been busy. It might seem like a small thing, but it really makes a difference when someone remembers you and takes the time to ask. What stands out to me most is how consistent they are. No matter when I come in, they always make me feel welcome. They are easily two of the best employees I’ve ever interacted with at any Chipotle. A lot of places can feel rushed or like everyone is just trying to get through their shift, but Rick and Blanca are the complete opposite. They’re always kind, friendly, and genuinely seem to care about the people they’re helping. I look forward to seeing them when I come in, and they are a huge reason I continue choosing this location over others. I really hope they both get the recognition they deserve. They’re amazing at what they do, and Chipotle is lucky to have them!

Unfortunately, I am writing this review from not only an unacceptable experience on 08/27/26 but from multiple negative encounters with Chipotle (multiple locations). I’ve been eating at chipotle for years, and it’s really disappointing how downhill they’ve gone. I hardly ever give a low star rating, but this day pushed me over the edge. On this specific day, it was double protein day (only like a $3-$4 discount). I really didn’t think it would be THAT popular, but my mistake. Anyways, I placed my order at 7:39 PM, the app claimed it would be ready at 8:20 PM (41 minutes). I was okay waiting that time; however, my order was not ready at 8:20 PM. In fact, it was not ready until 9:09 (90 minutes). I understand it was extremely busy and they were behind, but what really bothers me is having time wasted. If they were so busy and behind, they should’ve stopped accepting orders. I would’ve been fine if they originally just cancelled my order. I don’t know if this has something to do with corporate or why they couldn’t just deny the order, let alone refund me in person. Apparently, orders can only be cancelled through customer care, even if the order hasn’t even been started. Their customer care system is all AI generated. When trying to call to talk to a live person, nobody answers. That is unacceptable. While I’m sure employees are just following rules, what was happening in the restaurant wasn’t exactly okay. They seemed to prioritize the in-person orders more than the pick ups, even though some people had been waiting almost 2 hours IN PERSON before the in person walk ins even came inside. I felt bad for this one young employee because he seemed to be pulling the most weight, putting together orders in the back, bringing them up front, and calling them out for everyone. When not checking out anyone, the cashier could’ve been bringing order that were ready to the front and either placing them on the shelf or calling them out to help move faster. Again, if it was too much to handle, orders could’ve been denied/cancelled. Not only did the order take 1.5 hours, but it was cold, missing rice in the burrito bowl (we were not informed there wouldn’t be rice, as in person people had rice in their burrito bowls), and there wasn’t even a double portion of protein. If I’m going to wait 1.5 hours for a meal, I expect it to at least be correct, let alone warm. It really just ruined our night and permanently impacted the way we feel about Chipotle. It isn’t just this location that I’ve had a sucky experience at; it is about all the ones I go to these days. It is always a hit or miss experience. Sometimes you get fantastic employees and sometimes you get ones that are on their phone watching something while I’m trying to get food (not this location). I’ve also had a different location need to cook more black beans around noon, and an employee told me that they wouldn’t be replenishing the beans so to not wait for it (I did not mind waiting). I understand people have bad days, and I really try not to hold anything against anyone because at the end of the day everyone is human. I just cannot continue to support this chain where the quality and service is so inconsistent, so I’m to the point where I will never be returning to Chipotle. I don’t know if it is the technology or today’s society, maybe both, but Chipotle is nowhere near as good as it used to be. It is also too expensive for so many inconsistencies. I don’t mind posting a negative review to every single chipotle restaurant I’ve had a bad experience. It seems they don’t care what is put in the survey as they never reach back out after a bad one. I don’t know what will get corporate’s attention to make a change in the way they run their restaurants, maybe they need to hire more employees, higher pay, less AI systems, etc. The problems are most likely with the way of corporate’s management and system rather than the employees themselves.

I place a pick up order. The app told me that it would be 30-minutes until the order was ready. That wasn’t a problem. I arrive at the restaurant 30 minutes later and the order had not been started. Also, there was a huge line of people waiting to pick up orders. The staff were not in any rush to get orders prepared and I even witnessed one staff member sitting down outside. At this point, I’ve waiting almost an hour and still have not received any food. I wish that I was able to cancel the order and grab food elsewhere, but I have already paid. 10/10 would not recommend eating at this location.

Placed a mobile order before my lunch break and the food wasn’t complete until after my lunch break was over, 45 minutes after the estimated pick up time. In the time I was waiting they served 10+ people in the line that had just came in. Also wouldn’t refund me before they started making my order after waiting 30 minutes

There was only one couple in line in front of me, but for some reason it took the workers 20 minutes to even address them. They decided to prioritize online orders I guess. That was annoying, but then they were also out of cheese, like entirely out of cheese. They said the truck didn’t show up. So I asked if there was any sort of compensation for that, like free queso instead to make up for the fact that there’s no cheese available. I was flat out told no. One of the main parts of the meal is cheese. A significant amount of protein comes from it. Very disappointed with this experience. I would’ve expected more from Chipotle.
