Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- KKKyle4 days ago3.0Love hate relationship for this location. I love the fact that I always get a free burger to take home to the family if someone wants it. I hate the fact that every time I come here, my order is made wrong and cheese is put on my burger even though I dont order it(lactose intolerant) and cheese doesn't even come on a #2 unless you ask. So now I'm waiting an extra 5 minutes because someone's inability to make a simple sandwich. This has happened at least 4 times now.

One night I went to get a sweet treat and like 30+ minutes later the manager came to me apologizing for how long it was taking then a few minutes after that gave me a refund with an extra pie. Just earlier I went again and got my dinner from an online order and they didn't give me the pie I ordered. The workers are nice but forgetful at least about the pies for some reason.

Inside was an absolute train wreck, every table was dirty, trash cans both of them overflowing, bathroom blocked off by mop buckets and cones. Hamburger was 1 out 10, but my fries were solid. Look at the reviews on yelp and here, it tells the story of lacking management and lack of care.

As I started to bite into the sandwich I thought they mistakenly gave me a burger the meat was dark on the outside, it was the batter I suppose. It looked like a grease saturated patty of some kind. It had no taste I only took one bite. I finished my fries and drink both were good as usual. I felt the need to drive back to the window and tell them it was horrible. The young girl just looked stunned. I threw it in the garbage and drove away. If I choose to eat there again I’ll just stick to the burger.

Schertz is too far and I live literally behind this location and almost every time , there is something missing . Tonight 6/15/2016 at 10:45 I picked up an order drive thru and did the in app offer of buy a refresher and get the medium fry free . I didn’t get the fries and having to drive back is ridiculous
