The interaction left my husband and me feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. As customers, we expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, even when there is a misunderstanding. Based on this experience, I believe Peyton could benefit from additional customer service training. I also encourage management to evaluate whether a customer-facing register position is the best fit, as positive interactions with customers are an important part of the checkout experience.

I have to carry the bags two heavy doors away and I keep hurting myself.
