Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I believe he was the manager but I placed my kids food order at my usual Whataburger in Duncanville but really placed it at this restaurant. The guy was so nice he prepared their food all over again and brought it to me. Would definitely be back.

They remake…the classic chicken sandwich. We ask them to again remake it like it comes: pickles, chicken, bun, that’s it. They instead suggest we go onto the app and request a refund rather than make the order correctly. 🤯

The drive through lanes were both open and moving well, Eric, the manager was highly respectful running the drive through and taking payment. He said thank you Ms. Debbie. The young lady, Wesleyn (Weslyn) (forgive me if I did not spell it correctly), gave me my order, with a real smile. That is the model of service I am used to growing up in Houston. The order was accurate. Of note, this location seemingly had a lot of young folks reflective of the community who were all working hard, one was taking out the trash, and they were all focused as a team in getting these orders moving. No one was on their phones or playing around at work. They use a credit card extender so you are not handing someone your card. It took someone to build that team, and it showed.
