This restaurant chain is closing all locations soon. I quit eating here a few years ago. It's not very authentic. Not good rice and the enchiladas were meh. Even El Fenix is better and especially non chain Mexican restaurants are far better.

I’m asked for fried shells for my tacos? Which I usually ask for when I come in. Today, the manager sent the waiter out to tell me “don’t ask for the fried shells anymore because the cooks have to hand press them instead of using the ones made for the day”. I would prefer them just tell me they don’t make them like that instead of having the waiter come out and ruin my experience. Also, when I came last week, I waited 45 minutes for an enchilada and was told I couldn’t sit outside but others were able to.

Ordered to go. One of the items we ordered was Grande Fajita Nachos. Sounds Grande, right? Guess again. We got 8 - count 'em - 8 cold chips with a few strands of shredded cheese and a small bit of chicken perched on top. For Fifteen bucks, I was certain that they got the order wrong. So I called the restaurant and they confirmed that this was indeed correct. So very disappointed in this restaurant. They lost this customer for life. 2.00 per chip. I'll go to Taco Bell next time.

I just want to say, Cinco de Mayo is hectic at ANY restaurant…PERIOD! Why go out of your way to make it miserable for the ones who actually SHOWED up to serve YOU? My mom, me, and my play sister went there yesterday evening, only to see customers, who had ALL opportunity to EXIT stage left, show COMPLETELY out! If you REALLY wanted to leave, you had AMPLE opportunity to kick ALL the rocks, with no shoes on and hit the road JACK! Our server was the ABSOLUTE sweetest, calmest, cool, calm, and collected individual. She could’ve clocked out, went home and said “I’ll just have to figure this out later.” Not to mention, I didn’t know WHAT her day was like leading up to them. But what I DO know is she came to work, not knowing what was in store for her day, and managed to PUSH THROUGH! KUDOS for the entire team at the Cedar Hill, TX location( those that didn’t call in last night 😉). Y’all are the REAL MVPs!
