  Babe’s is a fantastic place for a hearty, comforting meal. The fried chicken is crispy, juicy and I LOVE their chicken fried steak! The portions are huge, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming, and the service is friendly. A great choice for Southern comfort food - come hungry!

  Incredible food and even better customer service!Had a fantastic experience here thanks to the amazing team. Our server, Harrison went above and beyond with his service—truly exceptional and friendly. I realized I forgot to order the banana pudding, and the manager personally went out of his way to make sure I got it anyway! You can always count on great comfort food here, but the staff at the Cedar Hill location treats you like family. Highly recommend!

  I was given an uncooked peach cobbler. The chicken was warm and the skin was soft and slappy. You would think if you order two chicken meals it would be so much chicken they would make it fresh. I only got the peach cobbler because the Hannah pudding had been terrible for some time now. The bananas would be very hard and it would look thrown together and unappetizing. The quality of the food had went down. Maybe there’s a new owner. They’ve also changed the green beans which sucks as well. The salad was literally just lettuce like only lettuce lol.

  Visited Babe’s recently (05/26) with family for Dad’ 86th birthday. We were disappointed and most likely will not be back. The meat was much smaller but increaded in price to almost double what it was a year ago when we visited with other family for a birthday. They stopped giving styrofoam containers for your meat snd just gave a plastic bag. They even stopped giving you a styrofoam to-go cup for your drink. We spent $150 which of course increased the tip! No reason to be so expensive and cheap to customers at the same time! This place is usually packed for lunch but not anymore.

  We arrived at 5:50 PM and were seated promptly, but that's where the service ended. For the next 17 minutes, our server made multiple trips to every table around us while completely overlooking ours. We were never greeted, offered water, given menus, or even acknowledged. We understand restaurants get busy, but a simple "I'll be with you shortly" would have gone a long way. Instead, we felt ignored while watching every surrounding table receive attentive service. By 6:07 PM, we decided to leave and spend our money at an establishment that values customers' time and communication. We can't comment on the food because we were never given the opportunity to order, but the lack of basic customer service was enough that we chose to dine elsewhere.
