It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    I ordered a #2 and #7 and we received (3) large drinks and (3) burgers. The guy throw the drinks into our car and spilled coke in the bag. The young manager came out to say he refunded our order but gave us no receipt. Then another young man came and put the same (3) back drinks in our car. The manager and employees don't have a glue what they are doing. The food was cold and we waited for at least 45 minutes. Hire competent people and train them properly. We never received an apology or any compensation for their mistakes. Sad to see what was a great restaurant chain go downhill.

    Just wanted 2 burgers, 2 drinks. One with mayo and one with mustard. They charged us for 3 meals and then had to fix it which made us wait. Refunded our order and then charged us for actual order. They proceeded to bring us out 3 drinks in a bag and dropped in my husbands lap spilling the drinks. Then made up repeat our order then brought us our cold burgers. Took 4 different people and no one knew what was going on. These people including the manager have no clue about customer service or even how to take an order. I will not be returning. What a bunch of idiots. I would avoid this location.

    Wanted to try a local chain while visiting Texas and kept seeing Whataburger everywhere. I went inside,the place was nice and clean with workers going over every spot to keep it that way. The food was reasonably priced,and a good sized portion. It was more filling than McDonald's or BK back home. I truly enjoyed the burger. I will say as a fan of mustard the burger hit my taste buds,for those not a fan of mustard these burgers may not be to your liking.

    I had a really frustrating experience at Whataburger. I came in and ordered a #5. While I was still mid-order, the employee cut me off and said he already heard what I wanted. That should’ve been my first red flag. When I got my burger, it was completely wrong — missing cheese, missing my extra pickles and extra grilled onions, but somehow had bacon added. I had to go back to get it fixed. Second time, they gave it back still wrong — no extra pickles. I went back again. Third time, they added the pickles and cheese… but removed the bacon. At that point I had to go back a THIRD time just to get what I originally ordered. By the time I finally got my meal, it was ice cold and had clearly been handled multiple times. Completely unacceptable. Meanwhile, it seemed like everyone else just drove off — either they got lucky or didn’t check their food. This whole experience was sloppy, careless, and a waste of time. I want my money back. Do better.
