Worst dining experience ever. Our family of four arrived at the restaurant early, only to find that the menu had not even been updated yet. We ordered two vegetarian thalis and two non-vegetarian thalis, and were told the wait time would be around 15 minutes. However, after waiting for 30 minutes, we still had not received any food. When we asked about the delay, we were told “5 more minutes,” but even after waiting longer, nothing arrived. Meanwhile, customers who came in after us were being served before us. Eventually, one vegetarian thali was brought out, but it was extremely disappointing. It included partially cooked tindora fry, hard rotis, microwaved rice and pulao, and no curry or curd at all. The remaining thalis arrived one by one much later. To make things worse, when we compared the two veg thalis, the items were inconsistent — the first thali was missing several dishes that the second one included. What was even more confusing was that every other thali being served to different customers looked completely different, despite them appearing to order the same item. There seemed to be no consistency at all in what was included in each thali. The food itself was average at best. Even the plain rice was served without enough gravy or curry to eat with. Considering the quality, quantity, inconsistent portions, and poor service, the prices were extremely high and absolutely not worth it. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The restaurant had the worst service. We ordered veg thali the items served in the thali was not all upto the mark. The restaurant had exhibited indifferent behavior between the known guests and new guests.

I had one of the worst dining experiences at Sai Bhavan. Honestly, this place doesn’t deserve even 1 star. Starting with the buffet — the food quality was extremely poor and clearly not fresh. • The Poonugulu tasted like it was fried in old oil multiple times. Completely stale and unpleasant. • Onion Pakoda was overburnt and inedible. It didn’t feel fresh at all. • The spinach dal was undercooked — the dal itself wasn’t even properly boiled. Absolute waste. • The kurma was equally disappointing — no freshness, no flavor. Coming to the worst part — • The curd was probably the dirtiest and most spoiled curd I’ve ever had in my life. Completely unacceptable. Desserts were no better: • The semiya payasam was a disaster. The semiya wasn’t even cooked properly — it felt like it was just dumped into milk without basic preparation. The taste was terrible. Drinks: • Sweet lassi and lemonade were among the worst I’ve ever tasted — completely off and poorly made. Overall, nothing in this buffet felt fresh, properly cooked, or even remotely worth the money. It honestly felt like leftover or badly handled food being served without any quality control. This is not just disappointing — it’s unacceptable for a restaurant serving Indian cuisine, especially at a buffet.
