I had heard good things about this place but I’m not sure why!!! The sides, mashed potatoes were instant, and corn & green beans were from a can 🤮🤮🤮 I could live without the sides! But when I cut into my chicken fried steak was where the real sorrow for my meal began! The meat was SO THIN there was actually more breading than there was meat!!! It was dried out and completely flavorless!!! Adding the gravy didn’t help because that was flavorless as well! Had I gone in to dine to get this meal rather than calling in and getting it to go there is NO WAY ON EARTH I would have spent my money on this! I would have sent it back to the kitchen and walked out!!! Honestly I’ve gotten a WAY better chicken fried steak from truck stop diners which is really sad because I think I spent like $10 on those meals! I will say this was my FIRST AND LAST TIME going to BABE’s!!! I’m honestly mad I spent almost $50 for this!!! I really want my money back!!!! The ONLY good thing about my experience was the lady handling the to go orders…she was very pleasant!
