Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- MMM.G.Sep 19, 20261.0This place is now slow, dirty, and inconsistent with orders, especially at night. People were getting the wrong orders or the orders were made incorrectly. The wait time is atrocious. If we are waiting so long, the food and orders should be at least correct. I had to wait 35 mins from when I ordered in the app, until my order was ready (it was a pretty easy order at that) Sad to see that this location and Whataburger in general, has gone into the toilet. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this location.

When asked if peach drink was with rest of drinks as she handed me a cup, she replied yes (of course it wasn't. She didn't bother to offer to get it for me either just made a comment. Ordered onion rings, got French fries. Ugh! Another young lady, fixed that, thankfully. I like Whataburger but will not go to that one. If you don't like your job, find another one.

They asked if I wanted to add anything else to my meal, and when I got to the window, the guy working there greeted me and was really friendly. He even apologized for the wait and said, “I’m so sorry about the wait on your food.” I told him it was completely fine. I didn’t catch his name, but he had curly hair and was working at the window. He was VERY nice and did a great job! He asked if we wanted any extra sauces, and even after I said no, he was still so kind and said, “Well, thanks for coming to Whataburger. Come again soon!” And of course, the food was SO good! ❤️ I love that Whataburger always serves my food hot and fresh. You really can’t go wrong with Whataburger! 🍔🧡 Definitely a great experience at the Buda location!
