  I travel alot for work and Whataburger is my fave burger place. I've hit every Whataburger between Brownwood, Waco, Austin, Bastrop and San Antonio multiple times. The food is standard Whataburger, but everything else is substandard. The only Whataburger I've found that's worse is on MLK and Airport Blvd in Austin. Counter-service can be competent, but not always. Orders are usually taken correctly but DEFINITELY check your receipt. A couple times, the person taking my order finished my sentence for me, presuming to know what I was ordering and had to be corrected. Counter staff is often distracted by conversation with other staff, so might not notice you at the register right away. The night/3rd shift crew is a little more on top of things as far as service goes than the day crew. I've been in here several dozen times now, and most of the tables are almost always dirty, even though, especially at night, there's employees standing around. "Clean"/"cleaned" tables always have big streaks on them like the rag used hasn't been rinsed in awhile. I've never seen any employee using a spray bottle, presumably with either a degreaser or disinfectant, on the tables. Napkin dispensers aren't always filled promptly. Trash bins are often full, especially with the night crew. I go here because the burgers and breakfast sandwiches themselves are better than the other chains and cheaper than the local restaurants, but that's not a very high bar. If a local place opens up that can keep their costs comparable, I'd definitely go there instead. Shakes are OK, but absurdly priced, like everywhere else. Better than nearby Freddy's, but Starbuck's is a 1/4 mile away and the frappucino is a much better/tastier equivalent. Store definitely not living up to the average "Whataburger dining experience".

  Sometimes it’s pretty good and the food is decent but my order is basically always wrong in the drive thru. This time “everything but mustard and add mayo and ketchup instead” became no pickles and no ketchup, add mayo and everything else. Not sure how this keeps happening. Probably just gonna stop going it’s not worth the roulette wheel that is the toppings on your burger. Inside they’re pretty good though. Especially Edward, love that guy.

  No Whataburger locations near where I live - so took advantage of this location while on a road trip to Texas... Great Patty Melt and chocolate shake... My wife really enjoyed it too...
