Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This whataburger might be the absolute worst ordering experience that i’ve had. They are always super late with your order, and don’t get me started on their curbside service. Today i ordered a singular burger at 2:40 and it said they’ll have it out for me at 2:52. Someone shows up after me and gets their food way before me so I try to wave down the employee from my car, he clearly looks at me for a second making eye contact, but just keeps walking and leaves. So i’m waiting for over 45 minutes until i finally give up and go to the drive thru to ask for my order. I’m being very patient despite having nearly an hour of my life wasted. They send me to the second window and i can see other people getting their meals before mine, despite me being there way, way before them. So i’m expecting them to hopefully be remaking my food since its taking too long. These suckers come back and ask me for a receipt. I ordered through the app and therefore have no physical receipt. Then they FINALLY bring out my food nearly 55 minutes after my initial order was supposed to be ready. By this point i just want to go home. Keep in mind this food is for my grandpa who is very picky and waiting at home. So they give me my drink and it has ice despite me asking for no ice. The ice is mostly melted so i could tell these chumps just threw my order to the side and forgot about it. Same for my food, the burger felt cold through the wrapper and the fries were stale and room temp. I ask for my drink to be re done with no ice since it all melted into my drink. The employee makes a face and looks very bothered by this bare minimum of a task I just asked her for. She brings back my drink and its soaking wet on the sides on top of not looking entirely full to the top. Then she gives me a straw that is soaked in water as well. Quite literally a horrible experience all around, on top of a pissy employee throwing tantrums despite giving me cold and wet food. Don’t ever order from this Whataburger unless you’ll be dining inside, and even then i don’t recommend it, they always get my parent’s order all wrong when we dine inside.
