Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Every time I visit, he greets me with a warm smile and a genuine kindness that makes the experience truly enjoyable. He always goes the extra mile, reminding me to drive safe home, which shows how much he cares about his customers. Not only is Gilbert incredibly friendly, but he's also quite handsome, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. It's no wonder he's considered the best employee there! His positive attitude and commitment to great service set him apart. If you ever visit Whataburger, make sure to say hi to Gilbert-you won't be disappointed!

Manager Laura is never available and staff excluding a few are very rude and not helpful. I've noticed change in personal and they use the excuse of am new they continue to mess up orders even after they have customers. Only employees that have been helping are the hosts Martin and Ambrosio and the drive thru girls Chantel and Anna. Was one of my favorite spots to eat now reconsidering going to other whatburgers to see if the service is better or same
