  Second time going we sat at the bar section but we moved because the counters and chairs were dirty. We there for 2 hours and no one ever cleaned them poor management 😞

  You can have good food/vibe but that can all be notched down when you have rude, slow, and horrible customer service. Ones’ attitude can definitely change the whole vibe with the place. Now usually, my family and I are a group of people that are chill when it comes to places like this. but it’s overstepping it when the employees are just huddled up laughing amongst each other when i ordered beverages 15 minutes ago. Not only that but one of the employees wearing a purple shirt had a really bad resting face. she did not smile at all. in some cases having a resting face Isn’t a bad thing I myself have it. But it’s proper etiquette to not have it in the workplace. It makes one feel very uncomfortable and unwanted at this location. overall, the employees in this establishment seem to only come to work to just talk and joke around. And I have nothing against that. It’s OK to joke around once in a while but when there’s people and it’s happening constantly. It gets pretty annoying and frustrating when you’re paying for services such as this.

  I love Main Event but my only complaint is there’s isn’t one in my own town Harlingen 😥☺️ . But overall pretty nice place

  The service was awful AT FIRST. We sat at a table and a server came to us, we ordered waters. She never came back probably assuming we weren't going to order food and that she wasn't going to get a tip for free water. We decided to just go bowl and we'd get food at the lanes. NOBODY came to check on us. There was a girl serving food at the table right next to us and never bothered to ask if we needed anything, we had to flag her down. When we finally ordered more water, again this server sat down and was on her PHONE the whole time. Never came to check on us. We finished our bowling and we're starving at this point so we decided to go back to the restaurant and we sat down at a different table. We literally waited for about 10 minutes, making eye contact with multiple servers and they never came to us. We thought that was ridiculous so we got up to leave. We asked to see a manager and she came to us quickly. I didn't catch her name, I wish I did so I could shout her out but she knows who she is and I hope she comes forward because she was amazing. She apologized for everything. She listened to us intently and she gave us two free appetizers and a free lane of bowling. We also got a server that she handpicked for us. His name was Damian I believe. He was amazing as well. From that point the service was quick, friendly and he was even joking with us, which as a group of people in our 20s we appreciated that. The food was great. The chicken nachos and honey sriracha wings were incredible. The 5 stars I'm leaving are for management, Damian and the kitchen. DISCLAIMER: Do NOT read this review and think you can scam your way to free food and bowling because they WILL check the cameras. I'm simply reviewing what happened to us and how management won us back
