Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- KSKara Sims2 days ago1.0Easily the WORST Whataburger I’ve ever been to!!! First of all, the cashier very rudely let us know there was no bacon while I was speaking. Then she did not know what Monterrey jack cheese was, and took 5 minutes to go ask her manager what it was, when manager came to help, cashier wasn’t even paying attention and acted like she could care less. We sat down and waited 30 mins for our meal (Two burger meals that take our hometown Whataburger about 8 minutes). When someone finally brought our food it was cold and soggy. Manager rolled his eyes at us and said “i guess” when we asked for spicy ketchup. Also, the fountain was broken and spewed root beer and coke all over my husband. Crazy experience, will never come back here.

The window attendant was very apologetic but couldn't produce food in a timely manner. This has happened on several occasions where the drive thru line wait was ridiculously long. I will never be back to this location. We requested our money back. Several people standing around but not enough cooking. Manager should have rolled up her sleeves and gelped out the cooks.
