  The first time for me at the store in Belton. The staff was there friendly and helpful and pointed out locations to the items that I could not find. Viv in particular, walked me over to the location to make sure I can find my item.

  It has become a hit or miss store for us. We are evening shoppers. Not a great time to go. Especially the day the sale starts. It is really disappointing finding an expired coupon still attached to an item. This store is once again under construction. Employees checking their phones while customers are checking out. Employees shopping while eating with their name tags on. What happened to an employee really needs to remove the name badge before shopping?! We find we do not encounter the same experiences as the other reviewers who think HEB is the greatest thing since sliced bread. For us it is a necessary evil as Temple, TX is very limited on the choices one has. HEB is so busy becoming so large and they need to focus on the infrastructure. What ever happened to great customer service?! I am not an HEB hater I just haven't forgotten what great customer service is, and I really haven't forgotten what a low-price leader is. HEB prices fluctuate quite a bit. HEB has some great employees they just get overshadowed by those who are less than lack luster.

  I love shopping at HEB, and yesterday I had a great experience thanks to Veronica from the deli department. I was looking for some lady fingers and couldn’t find them, so I asked her for help. After a few minutes of looking, we still couldn’t find them, and I told her I would just look for them somewhere else seeing as I didn’t want to take up more of her time. However, she offered to look for them and have them ready for me by the time I finished shopping which I kindly declined because I was in a bit of a hurry. A few minutes later, I was in another aisle when she came up to me with the lady fingers. I was so happy and she even offered to save me another packet if I needed them, but I told her one was all I needed. I am taking the time to write this review, so that Veronica is recognized in being such a good worker and going above and beyond for customers!

  Grocery carts are terrible. Parking a nightmare !! Carts Wore out and hard to push. Have to try 2 or 3 b4 getting one that tracks right. Many times they are out of stock on needed items. No HEB sweet tea in the summer. Really!!! Wish we had a Kroger, or Brookshire as a back up. I would pay the extra cost. Employees are GREAT and the Best!!

  I love HEB. They always have just what I need and lots of options. However, it’s busy all times of the day and the store cannot keep up with the growth of the community. Personal shoppers are also making the store crowded and they have no courtesy for regular customers.
