Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Told me they had a competition with all the waco whataburgers for who sells th3 most dessert. I ordered a brownie. They forgot my bronwie.....

The drive-thru at Whataburger has become more of a hassle than it should be. Almost every time I come through, I’m asked to pull forward and park in one of the spots, and then I’m sitting there waiting 10–15 minutes for my food.
The parking spots they send you to are also extremely tight, which makes the whole situation even more frustrating, especially when multiple vehicles are being told to park and wait.
What makes it worse is that it seems like nobody is keeping track of who is waiting or what order belongs to who. Employees come outside trying to figure out whose food they have, or it feels like you’ve just been forgotten about.
I understand having to wait when it’s busy or when food is being made fresh, but when this happens almost every time, it defeats the whole point of using the drive-thru. A drive-thru shouldn’t regularly turn into finding a tight parking spot and then waiting another 10–15 minutes for your order. The whole process really needs to be better organized.

If I could leave zero stars I would! This location is awful! Charged me for a sausage, egg, and cheese when I ordered a sausage biscuit then tried to give me a sausage biscuit and the sausage, egg, and cheese price. When I said something to the girl in the drive thru window she made me wait forever then brought me back the difference in cash. When she handed me the cash she threw it on the ground. When I said you missed my hand what do I do she said pick it up off the ground! I'm an elderly lady!!!!!!!!! What's happening in this world. I just told her to have a blessed day. I'm so disappointed. This is so upsetting to be treated this way!!! Please don't eat here they're so disrespectful and rude. My heart is breaking for the way people treat others.

Last night was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a fast food restaurant. I work late nights, so I’ve only ever been at this location between 10 PM and 3 AM. We went through the second line in the drive thru and were told to wait until someone was available which is fine. But when 20 minutes went by and 3 people in the other line were helped before us, I had to ask for help in order to get my food order taken. The girl was quite nice, I’ll give her that. After that, we sat in line for another 20 minutes and didn’t have anyone acknowledge our presence. So we had to come inside. It took an entire other 30 minutes to get our food. Workers were just walking around inside on their phones. The short young man with tattoos working the front counter was awesome. I didn’t catch his name, but he was funny and was working his hardest to hold the front down on his own. Props to him. But if you’re looking for a late night bite, be prepared to wait.
