  Attempted to host a family member at this establishment. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table. Server came and took our drink order and never returned. Never came and apologized for the wait, never came back to take our order. This is very unacceptable as I chose this establishment as a reputable place to dine and entertain. After waiting more than 20 minutes for service (and another server asking if we had been helped) we decided to leave. No way I’d return to this location. I am a very understanding person, but to not at least communicate with your guests is just poor customer service. I’m am royally disappointed.

  Food is always good but the service phenomenal! Our server always made sure we were well taken care of.. just have to say great great service and well functioning restaurant come from a great leader! Hats off to Jeron !!

  Mainly I came because of for the gumbo, but it wasn't mu favorite one. Even though it contained all the necessary ingredients, plenty of shrimps, okra, sausage etc, it lacked any flavor. The roux didn't have a taste or thickening, so I wouldn't recommend this dish. The restaurant is nice though.

  Absolutely poor to mediocre food with outrageously overinflated prices. Go somewhere else like Terrebonne’s in Ft Worth for much better and reasonably priced food.

  Never tried Pappadeaux until now. Must say that while the staff is trained well, and the management is friendly, the quality of the food left us wanting. I ordered the Rainbow Trout and my wife, the stuffed shrimp. Everything is absolutely slathered in butter and oil, the sides included. I couldn't really enjoy my meal wading through the lake of hot liquid that my entire dish sat in. We ordered green beans on the side and it felt as though they got one oily concoction for every dish. Food was the worse part. Needless to say, I think the problem is Pappadeaux's masquerade of a high end restaurant with rustic nautical appeal. Spending a hundred dollars here felt like I walked away scammed. Can't say enough about the staff, but the kitchen being on the other side of a single 4 foot partition kills the even idea of a restaurant asking almost 30 dollars for a fish entree that emulates a buttery aquarium decorated with cubes of butternut, and planters adjacent peanuts.
