We happened to be in Beaumont doing some last-minute school shopping and decided to pull up to Hunger's. Now let me tell you something...... I'm VERY biased when it comes to burgers. Give me a good smash burger or an old-school, homemade-style hamburger and I'm paying attention. 👀 So I went with the: 🍔 Hunger's Double Burger Two juicy patties 🧀 Cheese 🥬 Lettuce and thankfully, not those giant thick cuts 🥒 Pickles 🥫 Mayo 🔥 Hunger's Sauce And then...... 🍟 Nice, crispy seasoned fries. The burger had that juicy, messy, "grab some extra napkins" kind of energy that I look for in a good burger. Here's why this visit got our attention: We've tried A LOT of burgers. But so far, we've only found two smash burger spots we've officially co-signed one in Lafayette and one in New Orleans. We don't just visit a place once and immediately crown it. We usually make a few visits. Then we bring the rest of the team. Because everybody needs to try it before we put our stamp on it. And right now...... Hunger's is looking like it may be joining that list. So Beaumont...... Y'all might have something here.🍔🔥
