So you'd think about a taste of hot cheesy fries too? Something new? Then Maybe Zab's Chicken Ranch Nacho fries for appetizer! Better yet, paired with a delicious Love that Chicken.. sandwich.. from next door. Oh it's so good and cheesy.. But is it enough for $5 of your hard earned dollars. On my Saturday afternoon visit to Baytown's North Alexander restaurant, while doing the grocery run chores, I'd have to say NO WAY! So I pared mine today, with a Hot Popeyes' Classic crunchy Chicken sandwich, four thin siced dill pickles with mayo, and on a delicious deli-style buttered bun from next door.
When I arrived at my spot in the dead drive-through zone, a new sign greeted me, that essentially says, "Our combinations have changed"
I knew there is much more than that simple-minded sign, that has changed with tBell. People, if you aren't aware and don't follow the business model of the tBell who is the bad sister to the worse brother kfc, under yum! Brands. It is by there much smaller carry-out portions trays. Plastic containers that has REALLY CHANGED. So by description and photos for your understanding, the serving bottom tray that's black is about 3 inches x 5". That's All!
Get ready, to really pay now, your HARD earned dollars, if you wish to BE FULL at any local tBell to you.
Taco Bell always and unusually asks you at their drive-through menu board order place, right up first, if you'd like to place your order through their app? I always say NO. Because Im old skool and definitely not a carry chat GPT AI computer friend, all day long around, like Gen Z does unapologetically.
However, I do expect to receive a paper receipt, included with my Zab's Chicken Ranch Nacho fries. In exchange for my Hard won, and Earned dollars.
AND because even though my time at earning Taco Bell points is beginning to WANE NOW, after my lackluster visit on a dead zone for a reason, visit to the Baytown's North Alexander losing out more a d more, with business Model tBell restaurants.
In fact, when I arrived at their lonely window, I casually started a gentler conversation, with the tall gentleman (someone's lurking kid); by, you guy's busy? He simply shook his head sideways, so I said they are All at Popeyes on a Saturday. Then he perked up, and said they always ARE!
I couldn't tell you his name, B cause, he didn't naturally give me a receipt with his name on it! It was just after 2 pm, approximately 2:04 pm, after I left the chaotic Popeyes' drive-through zone next-door, towards this empty, dead-zone tBell.
I'd like to give some attempt for Kudos, at him being of importance today by his best intention there. He did give me 3 brown tBell napkins, that I didn't have to ask for. And he even gave me a sealed in cheap plastic, a tBell plastic fork, I didn't have to ask for. However, he only gave me two out of three, tBell HOT Sauces, that I ordered at the two-way speaker box. See photos of outside tBell menu/order board.
Overall, 2 generous STARS today for a very disappointing visit to Baytown's tBell, in OLD Baytown's LOST travelers' shopping strip (Alexander). This quite forgotten after all this time places to visit on your Saturday's stroll. And by those vastly sun-soaked buildings. All those mostly over-painted now, with dull paint, fading AWAY in time of any of these almost forgotten fast food joints left behind here in Baytown, Texas.
And two, the non-given out policy of this restaurant, to not hand me my paper receipt in trust, as the CUSTOMER is ALWAYS RIGHT.
I'd like to thank tBells owner(s) for helping me to decide in not ever-being a loyal, points adding Taco Bell APP follower anymore. One less App to disregard now! Yes, Thank you, for one less thing to consider ever again, in my simple mans' lifestyle, in Baytown, Texas.
Notably, the first ten or so photos are of my other paired with, half meal today. My Popeye's Classic, Love that Chicken, sandwich! Tbell in OLD Baytown is best paired up with your favorite menu item from next door. That is if you'd like to fill full from your lunch!
