Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Today we dined in hoping to have a peaceful lunch well there was definitely no peace the manager candy ruined our experience she was so ugly to her employees yelling at them loud enough for us to hear from the back of the restaurant when guests approached the counter she would rudely say “what do you need” like we are a bother very disappointed to say the least the yelling was unnecessary and a disruption to the guests

I just had the worst experience at this Whataburger. I took my daughter and grandson out to lunch and the manager candy was yelling at the employees so loud that everybody in the dining room was looking at each other silently very awkwardly. I don’t go out to dine to hear people arguing and fighting then she was rude to my daughter about the fruit snacks that they forgot to put in the child’s meal that it comes with then as we were walking out, she was yelling at another employee in the dining area. Candy is a horrible manager and should be reprimanded. I will never go back to this Whataburger. It was a terrible experience.

My food was cold when it finally arrived we waited for our food for 30 minutes I asked a employee what the wait was and he didn't have a clue. I spoke to manager and she said that three of the employees was new and should not be working alone. Ugh worst experience I have ever had at Whataburger. It will be a while before I stop in here again

Late night Whataburger hits different, but you gotta be careful—those taquitos are juicy as hell, so don’t be wearing your best fit when you dive in. I’m grabbing the sausage and egg with extra cheese every time, and honestly? That’s the best thing on the menu, no cap. The chicken is actually tuff too, and the buttermilk ranch is straight-up goated, so it's a solid move🥹🤞🏼
The wait times are straight-up disrespectful, and I’m still not feeling the burgers—they taste kinda odd to me, so I’d say skip those. But if you’re pulling up late, just stick to the taquitos and the chicken and you’re chilling. That combo is a W for real. 🤤✌️

Live in the area for 20yrs now. I love whatabuger, however this location has turned into the worst location Ive seen, interms of food. Old lettuces, tomatoes, dry..old fries...you name it.everytime..This was my last try.....the quality of the food has declined over the years, since they have no real competition nearby. Seriously not worth the money. Chick-fil-A plans to open next month down the street, I hope they get worried about losing customers and maybe try to improve. They closed the whataburger in Lakeworth...Im not surprised. DQs has been shutting down across the states , I forsee them taking the same road..
