Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

GM and managers seriously need to be replaced. No matter what time you go it’ll be a 20+ minute wait. I was once the only one in the lobby with 2 people in the drive thru and waited 25mins and one of the employees said “sorry we’re kind of going through a unexpected rush” 😂😂

Honestly? I've worked in customer service, and I never imagined I'd encounter service as bad as what I saw here. From the moment I walked in with my friend and approached a girl named Christina (I'm not sure about the spelling of her name), I felt unwelcome. I just wanted to ask how to order since it asked for a table number, but I didn't see any table number that I could get or label anywhere. She was acting very rudely and didn't even wait for me to finish speaking; she just told us to order takeout. I don't mind if they do takeout, but even for takeout, it asked for the table number. She was so unhelpful. That's not the worst part, though. My friend and I ordered two meals. My friend received her order, which wasn't even made correctly, and they inquired if it was okay to replace an item that was out of stock—okay, happens. Meanwhile, I was waiting for mine, and even people who arrived after me received their orders. When I finally got my order, it didn’t look like what I ordered. I didn't want to take someone else's meal. What happened next was shocking: Christina started yelling at my friend, accusing her of stealing my order (we ordered different things, btw), and claimed we must have only paid for one order and were lying. I was stunned. Our cards clearly show we paid for both meals. At that moment, I didn't even want to get that food anymore I just couldn't understand How someone could be so rude and still work in customer service. The only person who seemed genuinely helpful was a guy whose name I don't know. Overall, this experience left me extremely disappointed and angry. No matter the job, nobody has the right to be that rude. It was my first time there, and it will be my last. I don’t recommend it.

Christina is the worst worker I’ve ever met (I’m not sure about spelling) She’s been mean since we’ve entered the place and whole our experience was terrible because of her. Me and my friend ordered meals and Christina told me that I’ve stole my friends food and that’s why she didn’t get her food which was a complete lie, in addition I’ve ordered onion rings and got fries instead and my order wasn’t right and I hadn’t got my full order Overall experience was the worst the only worker that actually knew what to do was a guy who’s name we sadly didn’t know Also they were screaming and blaming us instead of just giving us our meal. We both worked in service and we always so understandable but this situation was so out of control and in any places they we’ve worked before it would be unacceptable

everytime i come here there’s always people yelling and it seems like no one working there knows what’s going on. first time i went they said they weren’t allowed to fill up my water bottle, which is whatever. 2nd time i went the person at the window was screaming and cursing at one of the other employees. 3rd time i went they forgot my fries (they were cold anyways but wtv). and tonight we went literally just for a coke and lemonade, waited 20 minutes in the drive through just for them to tell us at the window that they were out of coke, dr pepper, and powerade. bf got a lemonade and said that it tasted like charcoal. management, yall gotta lock it in bc yall are the closest whataburger to me and sometimes i just want a sweet drink.

AFTER OVERHEARING SOME EMPLOYEES TALKING ABOUT A RAT INFESTATION. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! So here I was with my friend patiently waiting for someone to take my order and while I was waiting by the counter trying to catch an employee's attention in the kitchen, I overheard some of them talking by the door about cleaning rat feces in the kitchen? At first I thought I was hearing things. I saw 3 or 4 employees near the door talking about a rat infestation and one of the workers cleaning by the soda machine talking about rat traps inside the kitchen!?!?! and the lady supervisor or manager looking at the floor saying that looks like rat droppings. I couldn't believe what I heard and witnessing. So disgusted, my friend and I decided to leave and eat somewhere else. Its so unfortunate because I enjoyed eating here every now and then, especially after school. That probably explains why they're lobby was closed a few days ago when I tried to visit. I can never look at this whataburger the same way anymore. Never again as long as its open! 😩 please ask them about the rat infestation before you order food because that place needs to be shutdown if they have an ongoing rat infestation problem.
