Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- JMJacob McClure3 days ago1.0Horrific night crew in the 3am hour on 5/17/2026. They will not listen to your order. They'll just make what they want you to have. Interesting hiring choices. You'd think competence would be wanted, especially for a 24hr establishment. They should probably cut back the hours, or find a new hiring manager. Terrible location. One of the worst in Austin. It's worth the drive to go to not this one. Avoid at all cost.

And this morning, they had an uncooperative customer who refused to move his truck forward past the second window to wait for his order, causing a massive delay and backup in the drive thru lane to the point that they gave me and the car in front of me our food for free since they literally could not process any payments because the man would not move. I really appreciate that and I will definitely continue to come back. Sorry you have to deal with people like that though.

Today particularly, the girl that brought me my curbside order around 4:05pm was such a light in just our 15 second interaction! I love to highlight good customer service at fast food style restaurants bc kindness in those settings it’s becoming sparse. I wish I would have gotten her name, but kudos to that employee and this store!
