Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- DADrica AlmeidaSep 24, 20264.0I wanted to share some feedback about this Whataburger location because I’ve noticed an issue during my last two visits, particularly with the fries. On my most recent visit on September 4th, I went through the drive-thru. The restaurant was not busy, but the fries were soft, only warm, and definitely did not taste fresh or crispy. The hamburger and the rest of the food were okay, but I’ve had better food at other Whataburger locations. On the visit before that, my friend and I dined inside. The food was okay, but again, the fries were not fresh or crispy. While we were sitting at the table, my friend felt something on his leg and realized it was a small roach. It was not on his food, but it was still unpleasant and concerning to see a pest inside the dining area. I do want to mention that the customer service has been good. During my most recent drive-thru visit, Raven was helpful and courteous, and I appreciate that. I’m sharing this feedback because I like Whataburger and normally enjoy the food, but after two visits at this location where the fries were consistently not fresh, I’ve decided to drive farther to another location. I hope management, including Morris Morgan Jr., can look into the freshness of the fries and the pest issue in the dining area. I would really like to see this location improve.
