Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- HHHelium4 days ago1.0The cashier was, completely unprompted, extremely rude to my friend but was like overly polite to me? I got my food even though I ordered after my friend. We waited maybe 20 minutes before going up to the front to ask about my friend's order and we were approached by the whataburger security guard? Who was kind of agressive with us and told us to go sit down. We waited maybe 10 more minutes before my other friend goes to check on the first friend's order, and they say it's been there the whole time? Food's cold at this point, didn't try it. Never going back here and frankly baffled as to why a fast food restaurant has to have its own security.

That means they had 45 minutes to make 3 sandwiches and were so unhelpful each time I came to check in on the order. They said that they would bring my order to my car, they did not so I went inside bc I watched at least 15 people get served ahead of me. I went inside to ask about me order and they ignored me. By the fifth time I pestered what was taking so long they had the order just sitting out getting cold. So disappointing, an absolute vortex of incompetence
