Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Whataburger is one of my favorite fast foods especially the North Lamar location. The staff is good, the store is clean and well managed. 10/10 I recommend this location!

“My first and last experience at this location was extremely disappointing.
I placed an online order and went to pick it up through the drive-thru. No one responded at the speaker, so I had to drive up to the window just to get any attention at all.
When I arrived, I clearly stated my name and that I had an online order. Instead of a simple and efficient handoff, I was told to go back around and repeat everything again through the speaker just to receive food I had already paid for. The process was completely disorganized and unnecessary.
When I asked for the employee’s name, I was refused. While I was still trying to communicate, the window was shut in my face, which was extremely rude and unprofessional.
On top of all of this, even the basic essentials were missing from the order — there were no napkins included at all.
I have never experienced an employee speaking to a customer in such a disrespectful and unprofessional manner.
I hope the manager reviews the security camera footage to see exactly how this situation was handled.
Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had. Disrespectful staff behavior, poor communication, and a lack of basic attention to detail. I would not recommend this location to anyone.”
