Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
This location is awful and I’m tired of pretending it’s not. It might even be the worst Whataburger location of all. It’s definitely the worst one I’ve ever been to. And I’ve been to a lot of them.
I’ve been going here for years and it’s a gamble every time. Will they get your order right? Maybe. Will they forget your fries? Probably. Will your food be old and inedible? Sometimes. Will you wait longer by ordering ahead on the app than if you order at the drive thru? Always.
They get 2 stars because the breakfast is usually pretty good. Lunch and dinner are much riskier. For example, this nearly fossilized chicken strip they gave me today, while also forgetting my fries. I’m almost impressed at their commitment to screw up orders badly.

Five stars for everything. You can bet on great service and great food at this location. Also, a special shoutout to Daphne the manager. She welcomed my family and I as soon as we walked in. I had a few questions about their new Bacon steakhouse double and she answered everything. The new burger was delicious as well.

Overall I had a good experience at this whataburger location- Daphne was amazing at taking our order and getting our food out to us in a timely manner. Usually I’ll have to pull forward or park but not this time. She really made the experience quick and painless. Give her a raise!

I came in to get a quick biscuit to take to work for breakfast... A chicken biscuit to be precise... In 30 seconds, they brought out my food. And when I got it to work, what I had was a chicken tender; that was very old and nasty tasting, on a biscuit.. I took one bite, and that's all I could handle...picture included
