  We went here a few times over the last couple of years and its been above average. Good food, great service, great overall experience. Tonight wasn't bad, but it was really boring. Food was really bland, not exciting at all. Everything tasted like it was pulled out of a package in the freezer and warmed up. No seasoning at all. I never add salt to my food, but I had to tonight. I don't know if they're training new kitchen staff or working with different food vendors or what. Service was just okay. The waitress was nice enough. Again, not bad, but miles away from exceptional. This sucks, because this place was on our shortlist of good dining in Cedar Park. We were both pretty disappointed. I'd rather cook at home or get fast food than pay to be served boring, unseasoned, uninspired food with mediocre service.

  Restaurant was very pretty and clean. I ordered fried pork chop, mashed potatoes, jalapeño gravy and an extra side of macaroni & cheese. It was all beautiful to look at but was the worst food I've had in a long time. Some of the Pork Chop breading was fantastic. Salty and very seasoned but unfortunately some of it smelled and tasted like fish. The pork chop itself was absolutely awful. So many tendon-y or grisly-pieces or I'm unsure what the true technically correct term is but they were gross. I kept spitting those pieces out, trying to give it a fair chance but apart from the texture some pieces did not smell good like old pork and some of the breading smelled of fish. I just couldn't stomach it. The potatoes were OK. The gravy was great. The mac and cheese had not one single aspect that was actual mac and cheese. Not one shred of cheese, not one drop of liquid cheese. Zero cheese flavor. If there was any cheese on it at all I certainly did not "recognize" it and that is terrible. Zero flavor, salt, or seasoning at all. It was simply boiled pasta shells. I also got the dump cake no ice cream. I don't understand all the rave reviews. It was also very pretty and the texture was fluffy & moist. But flavor wise it simply tasted like sugar with a slight hint of I'm not sure what. I give almost everything a 2nd chance. So I'm willing to try it again. This was so incredibly bad I just can't believe that this is the norm.

  I ordered the steak and eggs, and they were very delicious. The food here was definitely the highlight of my visit and everything was very satisfying. And even the lemonade was very sweet and refreshing.
