Best boat noodle soup in town!
There aren’t a lot of local Thai restaurants who serve this specific dish. Having traveled to Thailand numerous times in the past, boat noodle soup is one of my absolute favorite Thai dishes. This is one spot that I have consistently returned for their boat noodle soup. I will say though, that I have noticed the quantity of their dishes have gone down a little over the years, which I imagine is to be expected given inflation these days.
It’s a Thai family-owned restaurant, and the dishes are in my opinion, authentic. Well, at least the boat noodle soup is. I have tried the typical fried noodle dishes here as well (think pad thai, pad see ew etc.) and they are all really delicious. It’s one legit Thai restaurant I would highly recommend to friends and family to visit.
I came here last week for lunch and saw that they have lunch specials during weekdays. Staff is attentive and accommodating. The interior of the restaurant is clean and inviting. They even had fresh roses at every table, which I thought was a really nice touch.
They also have an outdoor patio if you would like to sit outside, overlooking the road. I can’t imagine sitting outside now during this summer weather we are having but definitely for cooler months.
Parking is easy and free. Go hungry.

Pad thai extremely dry, a first for me, and chicken was overcooked and tough. Lacked any type of flavor unfortunately. Read great things about pad thai here. I wasn't expecting the same as what I get when in Thailand but didn't expect it to be so lacking.
Tom kha had decent flavor but definitely lacking the the creamy base of this recipe, coconut milk. It definitely had some coconut milk but overall disappointed. Never seen the separation like this.

One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Austin!
I love their Pad Thai and really like their spice levels as well. Their lunch special is a great deal and definitely worth trying. Their boat noodles are also worth a try.

I ordered F1 House Fried Rice (GF) that listed "house soy sauce" in the ingredients. Since it stated "GF" I assumed that they used a special soy sauce that did not contain wheat. I even specified allergy as "Gluten Free" when ordered delivery, but they now say that you have to specify Gluten Free for the House Fried Rice to get it gluten free.
The restaurant responded inaccurately. I specified in the UberEats takeout app that I was "Gluten Free". So I did request GF. And there was no other way in the UberEats app to specify GF. In other words, you could not specify GF for any individual food selection. And the House Fried Rice was the only item ordered. They also referred to their website and takeout menu - but this is not the same apparently as used by UberEats. They should not state GF next to a food - it should state "GF Optional" for each item and not assume that the delivery services will provide the same explanation as they claim they have on their website that stupidly GF means GF Optional. Also when I called afterwards because I had symptoms, the person who answered could not tell me if the "house soy sauce" was gluten free. (And yes, I typically only provide reviews when I am extremely disappointed and in this case to provide guidance to other people who are GF.)

Wow. Just wow. I don't even know where to start—that's a lie, actually I do: Thailand is here! You know some ethnic restaurants in America are kindly inspired from the origin country but having experienced Thai food and flavors before immediately knew this was indeed 100% authentic, genuine, Thai food using ingredients from the motherland, itself, Thailand. I had spring rolls with Thai sweet and sour sauce, P4 Fried Khao Mun Gai, and a staple dish that every tourist who has visited Thailand constantly raving volumes about: mango sticky rice—I was immediately sent to another universe for my tastebuds. Just, wow, wow, and wow. I have no words to describe divine like food, you know when your eating food straight from food heaven.
I appreciate the Thai tableware and eating culture here, it makes you feel like you are really there.
Beautiful Thai restaurant. ขอบคุณทุกคน! 🇹🇭🐘
