This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Austin. I have brought most of my friends here and they agree. I don’t even live in Austin anymore and I make a point to come down monthly to eat here. The name recently changed but it’s the same awesome staff including the cooks that has been here for years. They are fast, friendly and the food is always piping hot with fresh vegetables and perfectly seasoned food and great portions. The Green Curry is my favorite but I have tried several dishes and I have never been disappointed. From the hot sake to the sticky rice! You’ve got to try this!
This is 100% our new Thai takeout for thai curry. We like spicy and full of ingredients. Picked up our food and brought home. Hot. Spicy. Generous portion of meat in the curry. Lots of rice on the side. Super glad to find a really good thai spot here on S Lamar. Packaged nicely for takeaway and friendly at the hostess stand. Order from their website for takeaway!

I left this restaurant genuinely wondering if I had contracted COVID, or if the kitchen is just terrified of seasoning.
I ordered the Pad See-Ew, and it was entirely devoid of flavor—I was essentially just chewing texture. To make matters worse, the server never even asked for a preferred spice level, which is standard practice at any decent Thai spot. When I asked for Sriracha to try and save the dish, what I got tasted either completely watered down or aggressively vinegar-forward and homemade. I ended up sending the entire entree back.
Hoping for a safe backup, I ordered the fresh spring rolls. They arrived open on one side to look like a "bouquet" presented in ramekins. It’s an presentation clearly engineered for Instagram moments rather than actual functionality. They were incredibly messy and impossible to eat normally.
The real dealbreaker, though? The peanut sauce was served hot. When I asked if they had cold peanut sauce, I was told no. Pouriing hot sauce over a light, crisp, refreshing roll completely ruined it.
It takes a lot to genuinely frustrate me during a meal, but between the tasteless main course and the frustratingly impractical appetizer, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. Skip this place unless you prefer your food engineered for photos instead of taste buds. Servers did not respond to our thank you as we left.

We were visiting from Houston, and since Thai food is one of our absolute favorites, we were on the hunt for a great spot in Austin. Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised. This was some of the best Thai food I’ve had in a very long time.
We ordered their Beef Green Curry, and it was absolutely bursting with flavor. It was so delicious that I could have enjoyed it as a soup on its own, though we paired it with rice. The Chicken Satay was perfectly cooked and incredibly tasty, while the Tom Yum Soup was outstanding with just the right balance of flavors. We also tried the Vegetable Egg Rolls, which were crispy, fresh, and delicious.
Overall, this place is a solid 10/10. If we ever return to Austin, this will be the very first restaurant we visit.
The service was equally exceptional friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience even better!
Austin Siam ATX Thai Cuisine exceeded expectations from the moment I walked in. Fast, friendly service with genuinely warm smiles from the staff made the whole experience feel effortless. The food was wonderful — flavorful, satisfying, and outstanding value for the price.
The space itself is small and cozy with an inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger, even for a takeaway order. And a bonus that’s hard to overlook — they validate parking, saving you the usual $8 fee. A small touch that speaks volumes about how they treat their customers.
A hidden gem worth every visit. Highly recommen
