Pinthouse is such a solid option that isn’t unreasonably priced. It’s consistently delicious & they often change up the menu with creative new options, which are always great.
- JSJoe Shepherd4 days ago5.0Great place to grab pizza with a large group of friends. The vibe is very “beer-garden with fancy pizza.” Large space with long tables and bench seating. Every time I go, it’s loud and lively. So if that’s what you’re wanting, they do it the best. Servers deliver the F&B that you order from QR code. The pizza is nearly top tier. It’s brick-oven style pizza with all types of specialty options. I get the large “Hoedown” and add grilled chicken, which comes out to about $25. That lasts two meals for me and my girlfriend. What keeps the pizza from being top tier is simply that the crust gets a little soggy/floppy, maybe from the cauliflower. If there was a 4.5 star, Id give it, but its def better than a 4.

It’s my kids favorite place in town so I had to come here and so glad I got to on Labor Day lol everywhere else was so busy and the place we were gonna go had an hour wait at 2pm so we headed here and yes it was packed here too but a nice lady was leaving and gave us her seat. We for our 5 people on the bench and ordered their faves. We were beyond hungry now at almost 3 for lunch and when it came out we couldn’t wait to devour them. I think 3 large is perfect for us 5 peeps ha we didn’t think so but we only had 2 slices leftover. Ok the verdict. I’ve had some amazing pizzas in my lifetime. My fave still rests in SD-Bronx pizza BUT these were pretty good and fresh from Austin. It’s not a NYC slice but fluffier and thicker but I like how fresh it was. If I had a chance to order I would have picked different kinds but I let them order their faves. Oh La La is my fave mostly because it had arugula on top and I love that on pizza. I love how cheesy the pizzas are and how fresh too. The only thing is it’s not as good cold. Gotta eat them piping hot and fresh. The other 2 pear and ranch chicken was good but just not my type of pizza toppings. I like all savory. Maybe a drizzle of hot honey sometimes but rather not. So these 2 had some sweet to them so I wouldn’t have ordered that if I had the choice. I’d stick to pizzas like the oh la la. All in all it was a fine experiment. So glad I got to go visit and finally try. I like All Day and Homeslice in town and now I can add this one too ;) Love me a good pizza ! Glad I tried !
