My fiance and I came here to check this place out since he used to live in Louisiana for work and misses the cajun cooking! We are so incredibly happy we came because the workers here know exactly what they are doing!!! The flavors balance perfectly together and I didn’t feel like they sacrificed the barbecue’s quality for the sake of the fusion concept. They blended the barbecue and the Cajun flavoring so well that you could tell it was a masterful, well thought out addition. We will absolutely be returning for the brisket, ribs, boudin, chicken breast, sausage, and crawfish cornbread.
The Cajun concept is such a fun twist on the classic Texas barbecue!!
We ordered pick up for our first time since it’s summer and we have an infant at home. Everything was excellent (brisket, turkey, chicken, Mac & cheese, cream corn & don’t forget to order the fried rolls! Easily a top 3 BBQ for us! Called to let them know our desserts weren’t in the package and they offered a refund no problem! We will be back!

Came all the way from Toronto and made a stop at Parish BBQ — and I’m glad I did. Holden is a great guy, the service was excellent, and the BBQ was seriously good.
What really stood out was the way he brings those Louisiana flavours into traditional Texas barbecue. It’s a combination you don’t see everywhere, and somehow it just works. You still get that proper Texas smoke and barbecue, but with that Louisiana influence coming through and giving it its own personality. Awesomely unique and absolutely delicious.
I’ve eaten a lot of BBQ, and I’m telling you, this guy has something special going on. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Parish BBQ crack the Texas Top 10 one day.
Great food, great service, and a great guy behind it. Keep doing what you’re doing, Holden. Definitely worth the stop — I’ll be back!

Boudin ball. Crawfish cornbread dressing. Ribs and brisket. So moist! Delicious and worth the road trip. Located in a food truck in the back of Austin Beerworks.

Parish BBQ has completely made me fall in love with Barbecue. I have had all the austin’s hits now, Terry Blacks, Leroy n Lewis, Stiles Switch, Interstellar, and MickleThwait. But i don’t think anything compares to Parish’s brisket. It’s incredible extremely tender and just beutiful bark. Very great food. I have been there 2 weeks in a row now, may make it 3 weeks. And is now my 3rd total visit. And it’s incredible. I am not the biggest fan of pork and always reluctant to eat it, but today i came around and tried the ribs and it was incredible. Must visit this deserves way more recognitions
