  You are sleeping on this place if you haven’t been! Great GREAT happy hour (from Sunday through Thursday, 5-6:30 pm). Drinks and sides for $5 each. Amaaaziiiing. Everything was delicious! And what I loved the most was the service. SO gracious, kind, and happy. A friend recommended this place and I’m set on being a regular!

  Food sure sounded good, but despite putting in my order and everyone else at the table having their food brought out by a pretty rude wait staff, my food never came. When we finally were able to get the waitress’s attention after the entire party was done eating, she seemed to have completely forgot.

  Old Thousand is one of our (my wife and I) favorite places to go for our Thursday date nights. Their five dollar baller happy hour is a great deal; we always enjoy the pickled cabbages and green beans. We are vegan and they substitute tofu for almost any other protein on the menu. The salt and pepper tofu, general tso's, and Xiao Mian are some of our favorite entrees. They can get a little busy on weekends and Fridays, so make reservations if you are planning on going one of those nights. But we always can get a spot at the bar or a table on Thursday nights.

  Horrible everything, avoid! Better food and service everywhere else in Austin. I should have gone to Panda Express.
