- AJAshley Jacobs3 days ago4.0So far this is one of the better chicken salad sandwiches in town well the north side of town. It's more on the dry side which I prefer I don't like a ton of mayo in the chicken salad, but don't get me wrong it's not dry it's just not sloppy with mayonnaise like most places. Generally I don't care for grapes or red onions in my chicken salad unless they are pretty small diced which The Red Onion pieces are tiny and that way you don't get a huge blast of onion flavor it's honestly a nice blend of chicken salad flavors evenly. The bread always seems fresh I've even eaten half and saved a half for the next day and straight out of the fridge the bread is still soft and fresh tasting. Today I tried also a pepperoni pizza. The pizza crust is really good it tastes like Old School Mr Gatti's regular pizza crust, iykyk.... the sauce is nothing to write home about but the cheese and pepperoni was decent and amount and flavor it wasn't the best pizza I've had but very fair and consistent and I would definitely order it again I actually want to try the chicken barbecue next time. But so far the chicken salad sandwich with the potato salad side is my go-to when I'm hungry but I don't know what I want to eat and nothing sounds good there's just something really easy and satisfying about that combo
