  The food was amazing, and both our server and the manager were wonderful. Unfortunately, our experience with the hostess, Jen, was the complete opposite. We had made a reservation for a party of 6 people, weeks in advance, and the hostess even called 2 hours before our reservation to confirm our large table. When we arrived, however, our table had been changed to a four-top with 6 chairs. Only 3 menus fit on the table. When we asked why, we were met with a surprising amount of attitude from Jen and told that another party of 6 was coming in and would be getting the larger table, despite we had arrived first and ours had already been confirmed. When we asked for a table that could comfortably accommodate our party, they offered to push two tables together but told us we would have to leave by 7:00, giving us only about a 1 hour to have dinner. We were there celebrating a birthday, so the entire situation felt incredibly awkward and unwelcoming. We were also offered outdoor seating, in 100-degree Texas heat, as an alternative. We were very close to leaving, and probably would have if the manager hadn’t stepped in and handled the situation so graciously. Thankfully, the food and the rest of the service were excellent, but the way we were treated upon arrival was disappointing and put a major damper on what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner.

  The food was overall great, but I would've appreciated a bit more transparency from the menu. Not all of the nigiri come in 2 pcs. So, we were a bit confused when our tuna, and wagyu nigiri were single. Also, the pictures online indicate that some of the nigiri come in pairs, when in reality they don't. Obviously an assumption on my part, but can you blame me? Speaking of the wagyu, the meat was a bit undercooked, which resulted in a chewy bite. Also, some of the "smoked" fish nigiri pieces were not all that smokey. Overall, the sushi cuts were still high quality. The katsu curry entree was also pretty tasty. In the end, we enjoyed our visit. Just be ready to spend a pretty penny. The atmosphere was great and the service was good. 4.3/5

  The food here was good but the service on the other hand was horrible. This was honestly the worst experience I’ve had service wise in a long time. I wanted to try more food here but the service was so bad it made me just want to leave. Before I came here I thought this place might be my new favorite sushi place in town. But after the experience I had here I will probably never return Problems we had with service: Made reservations but when we arrived they didn’t know where to seat us, so they put as at the bar…. Which isn’t a big deal but I wish they were more organized Waitress never came back to ask if we needed anymore drinks or even to fill up our waters. This was the first sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to when I had to ask for Wasabi, ginger, and something to put the soy sauce in. We asked our waitress for extra napkins and she never brought them. Then while we were sitting at the bar, the bartender asked if we needed anything so we said yes and asked for 2 beers. Then never received our beers….

  My friends have been coming here for years. It was my first experience and I had heard great things. The wait even w a reservation was longer than we had hoped for a party of 6. They only had one table and the prior guests lingered. Which happens. The AC was not working well and the waiting area was quite hot. Food was good and traditional. The server was a bit rushed and had a little bit of an attitude. Our reservation was at 8. We were seated almost 840. And around 930 we were told it was last call for food. The handling of that felt unnecessary and rushed. I believe when guests are eating and you have 30 Mins before “closing” there are more hospitality friendly ways to try to offer last call. They did spill avocado on one of the guests and credited that dish and brought another. I’d probably go back for the food but would hope for a different wait person.

  10000000/10, My absolute favorite Restaurant. I cannot recommend this place enough. This restaurant has by far the best Nigiri I’ve ever tasted, the most friendly staff, And amazing sushi chefs, who are so kind and make the sushi in front of you at the bar. It is always clean, I am always greeted by Jennifer, who is so warm and welcoming, And I wish I could eat there every day. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for & the quality and the experience is absolutely worth it.
