  It was great! Highly recommend the vanilla black sesame latte, great taste and great service. I will say if you are a coffee snob, you should definitely check out figure 8 instead.

  Weird experience today. We ordered an americano and cappuccino, went and sat down. As the barista made them she poured both into takeout cups. There were plenty of ceramic cups on the counter so I asked if it was standard for drinks to be poured in takeout all the time. She said "we do unless people ask specifically for drinks to be here." Since no one asked us what we preferred we hadn't said either way, but we had sat down immediately which is big evidence for here. Either way, maybe she didn't notice which is fine. They offered to pour it into a ceramic mug very kindly. The challenge for me is the coffee had already sat in the takeout cup, and they are lined with plastic. The microplastic content in hot coffee is off the charts, which is not something I'm personally comfortable with. I recognize most people don't feel that way so I offered to buy another one. Again they were kind saying "we know other people care about that too," and I bought another. It was an additional $5, which my husband and I happily shrug off, but we both know the margin of that coffee. It would have been cents to make another one. It's not about getting a free coffee. In a city drowning in coffee spots the ones that stand out are the ones that build relationships. This place is in the South Congress Hotel, so they can likely afford to be transactional and it doesn't hurt their foot traffic, but as locals we personally won't be back, nor recommend them after our experience.

  Adorable little coffee shop with delicious drinks and pastries! The staff was so friendly and helpful as well. I ordered the honey rose latte and it was just the right amount of sweetness and very tasty. We really enjoyed our visit here.

  Drinks and house made pastries are delicious and the employees are so nice and friendly. I’m from out of town and she gave me recommendations for other local businesses and shops, which I appreciated!! I love supporting local places like this coffee shop; the quality is always better than chains

  Got an almond bear claw, breakfast taco, and a black sesame matcha. Everything was soooo good. Service was great, got all my questions answered. And bonus- the barista has an amazing goth playlist!!
