- JJjosanne johnson4 days ago1.0I love krispy kreme donuts, buy it all the time. This store on stassney sells old donuts. Had to return a full dozen box of what should have been goodness. Went back another time to see if it was just a one time thing, nope, stale donuts. Kreme filled chocolate donut with hard kreme and dough interior like it was 3 or more days old. Go anywhere else, this store doesn't care about the quality of their food.

Floors all smelly and conveyer belt that donuts sit , all house fries. Dude wait for health hazards from this location. It’s the one on east stassney South Austin.

- RRRescuedMXMay 24, 20262.0This KK location was my favorite years ago; as we used to travel from New Braunfels to snag the original, sugary, circular bombshells. However, this location has lost its touch and luster. The facility was straight, but not super clean. The staff was kind enough; however, they looked a little overwhelmed. In their defense, they were busy with other folks inline ahead of us and were understaffed. The “Come Join Our Team” sign was in the window as well. I’ve been hitting several KK locations around the central Texas area lately and for some reason, the same issues of food quality, cleanliness and understaffing seems to be reoccurring issues for several locations! I know several of these stores are older, but wow! Maybe a management issue needs to be addressed? Does corporate have distinct folks following up at these locations for quality control? I do hit up several locations in the afternoons, where donuts and other items might be done for the day. But man, if the products don’t get freshly baked or replenished for afternoon customers and other stores….then close the stores in the afternoons and be done for the day!! Because the selection and quality of the donuts are definitely suffering. As well as the upkeep of the stores! I feel long winded here already and I haven’t even touched on the doughnuts we purchased! This Stassney Ln location’s Original Glazed were almost terrible. (See enclosed photos) They lacked almost any glaze and tasted overly greasy. As if they were older. (Maybe old grease!?) But again, the store was busy! So I couldn’t believe it... No Krispy crunch with any of the OG’s. However, the chocolate covered did appear properly glazed (see pics) and were delicious as usual. Their selection was poor, with no seasonal, promotional donuts left for the afternoon customers. In closing, it’s frustrating to see KK locations like this one and others, poorly run and poorly kept stores. For the distance some folks travel for a delicious, one in a good while treat it’s truly disappointing. If I wouldn’t have used a promotion in the KK appt, this 2 dozen trip purchase would’ve cost me a touch over $42 (included 2 chocolate milks) Let’s fix this KK…..
