- SSShaundraAug 15, 20261.0The woman at the deli today 8/15/26 at 7:40am saw me standing there, didnt acknowledge me and then walked to back, a man worker must've told her I was up front she comes out and says she'll be with me in a few then comes from around deli counter to look down the aisle. I just walked away because I was trying to get something for my lunch on my way to work.

I had my 2 month old strapped to my chest and the cashier Lilly offered to help to unload my cart and the gentlemen( didn’t catch his name) bagging the groceries stopped and unloaded my cart onto the belt and Lilly then offered help outside to my car, I usually say no but it was 100 degrees outside and with my little one with me I accepted the help. Celine then came over (maybe a lead or manager wearing a black shirt) came over and helped me to my car and unloaded the groceries as I put my baby in her car seat. 10/10!! Thank you HEB!

I purchased several purslane plants here last month, and unlike in past years, most of them died with a few weeks, whereas the purslane I bought at Lowes around the same time is doing great. My receipt expires two months from now, but after I loaded 6 plants into my car and drove 20 miles out of my way to return them to the exact same store where I bought them, I was told they couldn't be returned. Ridiculous. I have bought purslane from various HEBs in Austin multiple times in the last 15 years because they usually easily survive our summer heat. Something is clearly wrong with this batch, and the refusal to stand behind their products means I'm never buying plants at HEB again, and I advise everyone else to buy elsewhere, such as Lowe's. There's absolutely nothing on my receipt saying defective or diseased plants aren't returnable. Now, I'm not only out the $50 I spent on these plants but my time and gas money going 20 miles out of my way for no reason.
