- JCJeff CarrollOct 8, 20261.0I came in on 10/7 at 7:45 PM. I finished my shopping by 8:15 PM. My cart was full. Register 1 was the only register open. I could not use either self checkout due to the amount of groceries I had. There were 3 full carts in front of me waiting while the checker was checking out another. I looked around, and as usual in the express checkout area there were 4 people just standing there. No one offered to open another register, UNTIL, a man came in behind me, in my line, with about 15 - 20 items. Then a woman opened register 2 and checked him out while another woman bagged is groceries. By that time I had moved up the line enough that I had items on the belt waiting to be rang up. When they finished on register 2 (that one guy, no one else) they stood there and chatted while I was right next to them, bagging my own groceries. I was out of my line and heading out the door at 9PM. I actually spent more time in line waiting, and then bagging my own groceries than I did shopping. Just totally awful customer service. What an awful way to run a business. I am literally in shock this happened, usually HEB is friggin awesome. However, as of late, I have noticed it is going downhill, from awful service or getting their guacamole and having it explode from being bad the day after purchase. Perhaps its time for competition to move in here and make things better. I am not happy with HEB.

- SSShaundraAug 15, 20261.0The woman at the deli today 8/15/26 at 7:40am saw me standing there, didnt acknowledge me and then walked to back, a man worker must've told her I was up front she comes out and says she'll be with me in a few then comes from around deli counter to look down the aisle. I just walked away because I was trying to get something for my lunch on my way to work.
