  My husband was accosted completely unwarranted by a security guard upon entering the store. He said it was a very disturbing experience and despite him being polite and trying to speak calmly to the gaurd to assess what the misunderstanding was the guard continued to intimidate and treat him with suspicion. He persisted in hassling my husband to the point where he decided not to stay and shop as the experience was so upsetting. Best and most generous assessment of the situation, the security gaurd acted incredibly unprofessional towards a paying customer at worst, he was using his position to be aggressive unnecessarily. I hope this situation is appropriately addressed as I would hate for others to receive this type of treatment.

  I'm from Tampa and we don't have a grocery story like this. I had heard about HEB and needed to pick a few things up while I was in the are so I figured why not stop in. I was amazed at how big the store is and how clean and organized everything was. Beautiful layouts of fresh food and prepared meals a little bit of everything. If you need groceries I'm sure the locals know but if you're like me, an out of towner don't be scared to roll through this place and grab what you need. A fun experience at the grocery store.

  I never go to the H-E-B location since I live in Hutto, but this week I had to stop by since I was out that way and I was not disappointed. I believe the girls name was Jasmine she was super nice! I’m not sure if she could tell that I was rushing or stressed but she made me laugh and talked to me while checking me out. By the time I left my entire mood had shifted! She’s the best and made my experience there. Also I love how clean this location is 😁

  I wanted to give a five star review to Jasmine, I had a really bad day at work and she was kind enough to have a small conversation with me when I was checking out! It truly made my day better and I wish her nothing, but the best! Thank you Jasmine!

  First time at this location. Cashier refused to give me plastic bags first saying “it’s an Austin thing “, then it’s a store policy and that I’d have to purchase their reusable bags. I usually go to the location in Round Rock and have never had an issue. As far as I know there are no plastic bag bans in Austin. I’m sure the cashier is just following management orders. Did not expect this from an HEB.
