These people can’t make up their minds on charging for a bag. I come here never wanting to buy your bags. I don’t have time to collect your dumb green bags that I just throw away anyways. When you ask me if I need a bag, I mean, I need a bag that I’m gonna throw away and I don’t need a green bag that you’re trying to charge me for I don’t know why you all try to scam people for bags it’s quite ridiculous and a disgrace. Meanwhile, there’s a whole sack of white bags right there that they just refused to give you.
I came again on 5/9/26
These people refused to give me a bag until I made a complaint with the manager, and even then they still were refusing to give me a bag. I then asked them why they don’t just give us a bag. The manager rep replied because that’s what they were taught to do. So H-E-B is purposely not giving you a bag, forcing you to buy bags from them. I highly recommend you start shopping elsewhere. This is no longer the grocery store that it once was. Shop at the farmers market. These people sell food that’s going to kill you anyways. You don’t even deserve the one star I’m forced to leave.

This location consistently falls short when it comes to basic customer service.
On 5/2/26 between 4–5 PM, I asked an employee in the meat department (near the ground beef section) if there was any 93% grass-fed beef available. Instead of a simple, courteous response, he gave a dismissive and unprofessional answer: “not until the warehouse sends me some.” There is no reason for that kind of attitude toward a paying customer asking a straightforward question.
At checkout, I requested plastic bags for my meat and was told they were unavailable—only for them to suddenly be provided moments later by a team lead before the transaction was complete. While the cashier handled the situation politely, the inconsistency reflects poor communication and lack of organization within the store.
If this is the standard of service at this location, it’s unacceptable. Experiences like this are exactly why customers choose to take their business to other locations. Management needs to address both professionalism and customer service expectations immediately
Always busy. Always meh. Fine selection. It's H-E-B (Harry E. Butt), so you know every Texian and their friends like it so much! If it weren't so meh, I'd maybe say the same. Best stuff: sushi and produce. Worst stuff: no bags for free, limited parking. Meh.
Staff is fairly rude and racially profile people, have seen multiple rotten items from produce to bread, been accused of trying to steal a bag just cause it still has the tag on but the bag literally said five below seems like they made an heb too big to handle

I love the way remodeled the new HEB Andy workers are really nice but I was there April 15 at 9:30 AM went to one of the registers to checked out and after an hour of getting home and settling in I noticed that over $200 was fraudulently taken off of my card. I never use the card after that H-E-B purchase soI called the bank. I called Heb Hancock and let them know what happened and I was towed by H-E-B to make a police report and after speaking to my bank, I was told from the bank that it was done from whatever machine I last used and put my pin in at and that Was HEB in Hancock. After talking to the bank, several times, they confirmed that since I didn’t go and use the card at anywhere else, then it had to be at the H-E-B and so basically their new machines were hacked and I am out of over $200 and there’s really nothing anyone can do which sucks really bad because I planned on going back to H-E-B later that day to finish shopping but I will not be going to that H-E-B and using any type of cards only Cash and I would not recommend anyone using their card any card at that matter there and only using cash so that you will not fall victim to the same thing I went through.
