We called in, and the team placed a credit on his account for future use. The delivery driver said that he did knock before placing the pizza, though we did not hear him. End of the day, pizza is halfway edible so bf didn't want to have them remake it or have to drive again. Will we stop ordering Domino's? Nope, not at all. Their pizza, even burnt, is better than the other chain restaurants. Will we put "ring doorbell obnoxiously until someone comes to the door" for delivery instructions? Indeed we will. 😆🫠

My bf and I order from here all the time and usually they're decent. We've had issues in the past with ordering pizzas and the orders getting lost, or the orders not being executed correctly. While frustrating, we have worked in food service ourselves and know that prime dinner time, things can get overwhelming.
Today, though, is a Sunday midday. No big sports games. No holidays. He ordered a pizza, saw it marked delivered, and went outside to find - nothing. When he called the store, he apparently spoke to the delivery driver who told him that he's left it at the door. My bf insisted that it wasn't there. "Well... dont you live in a duplex? Maybe someone took it." Bf does not live in a duplex... The guy agreed to put a new one in, and bf has marked "hand deliver." The delivery guy even said, "I'll make sure to hand-deliver it this time."
Bf just checked his phone: delivered. Pizza left on the bench outside with no knock, no doorbell. To make matters worse, he ordered ham and sausage and got a ham, pepperoni, and sausage pizza. The crust is rock hard, and the entire thing is just.... not ok.
Overall, an absolutely shocking situation. It DOES seem tied more to the particular delivery driver and not the store, but we will also be calling to follow up on this situation to get it properly resolved. This is unacceptable service, to lose a pizza, tell the customer that the customer probably just misplaced it, promise a new pizza when the delivery mistake is discovered, PROMISE to hand-deliver it to make sure it doesnt happen again, and then just drop it off silently again. Not cool, Dominos.
