It seemed like frozen sprouts were used, and instead of a proper gravy (rassa), a large amount of extremely hot oil was poured on top. The oil stayed hot for a long time and actually burned my mouth. There was also no farsan served, which is an essential part of misal pav and adds texture and flavor. Overall, the dish lacked balance, freshness, and authenticity—it didn’t resemble traditional misal pav at all.
