  DeSano Pizzeria Napoletana serves what is hands down the most authentic Neapolitan pizza I have ever had outside of Italy. The dough is perfectly airy with just the right amount of char on the crust and the quality of the toppings is outstanding. You can taste the care and tradition that goes into every single pie that comes out of that wood fired oven. The restaurant has a warm and lively atmosphere that makes the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. This place has set a new standard for pizza in Austin and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

  wost costumer service!! The girl at the front needs to be nicer! They deliver your pizza and basically throw it to you... pizza was good .

  Delicious, authentic pizza napoletana. Thin crust, fresh imported ingredients, incredible flavor combinations, and a craftsman approach to delivering a standout final product. I've tried 6 of their pizzas and the margherita has to be my favorite - it allows a few simple and high quality ingredients to shine through, especially their divine San Marzano tomato sauce and mozzarella di bufala. DeSano's big tables and big pizzas are also great for groups; everyone gets to try multiple flavors. I can't forget to mention the amazing spicy whipped butter to dip your crusts in. The chefs prepare your pizza and bake them to perfection in giant wood-fired ovens before your very eyes. This is my favorite Neapolitan pizzeria in Austin. 5/5

  This pizza is delicious! Its savory, tastes like it came straight out of a brick oven (it did) and the sauce is great. Try it out if you like very thin pizza that packs a strong flavor.

  Really disappointed by this place today. I love coming here because the gluten free pizza is one of my favorites. Today, I ordered my gluten free pizza as I normally do. The lady confirmed my order. It was brought out to me and I confirmed with the person who brought it out if it was gluten free. He didn’t say anything and walked off. I didn’t think much of it and proceeded to eat the pizza as most restaurants are very cautious about being gluten free and so is Desanos. I took a few bites and realized it didn’t taste like the typical GF pizza. I took my order back to ask the lady up front if it was gluten free or not. She refunded my pizza immediately but was not apologetic at all. It’s very upsetting to have a situation like this taken so lightly when you have a gluten allergy.
