  I was served prosciutto in my gnocchi when I told specifically that I don’t want any meat. I ate it by mistake and this is unacceptable!! We came to celebrate at cousin Louis because we had a special memory here from last year this time, but this left a bitter experience and I don’t think I’ll be back again.

  Cousin Louie's is definitely the spot to go if you want a taste of Italy. Randall our server was delightful and gave great customer service. The food, OMG! IT WAS SO DELICIOUS! Julie the manager was so kind and friendly. I will definitely be coming back.

  I brought my mom here for a relaxing nice lunch and that’s exactly what Cousin Louie’s provided! Not to mention their delicious food!! I had some of the best fettuccine I ever had!! Randall was truly the best! He was very kind and helpful. He kept us smiling and taken care of. Julie the manager came over and also made us feel right at home. I will definitely be back and bringing everyone I know here. If you want delicious Italian food and some of the best customer service in town then come to cousin Louie’s! They won’t disappoint.

  I've eaten at Michelin restaurants across the continent. I've had $1200 Italian meals in Manhattan, sushi at an invitation-only restaurant in San Francisco, Copper Creek Salmon in Seattle, Snow's BBQ in Lexington, Steak at Peter Luger, and on and on. The best lasagna I've ever had in my life is, of all places, in Belterra Village near Dripping Springs. Understand that the chef was trained at the very illustrious Culinary Institute of America. That's like Juilliard for musicians, or MIT for scientists. On top of that, the expert chef is making a family recipe that's really old and long-since perfected. Go there, be comfortable and slow down. Enjoy the wonderful bread and a little red wine. Take a breath, savor the lasagna, eat well, and leave happy.

  This place is such a disappointment. Quite honestly it is also overpriced for what you get. On my first visit I ordered lasagna. I figured it was a safe choice. Not much filling & super salty. Next time I ordered calamari. It was $18, overcooked and not enough for 2 people. There was only the end of a lemon on the plate so I had to ask for more. The marinara sauce was very tasty & good with bread. Third visit I ordered a bowl of Italian wedding soup. The broth was very salty. The meatballs were the size of a dime & there were six. Six tiny little meatballs! What few vegetables were in there were diced so small they were smaller than a kernel of corn and totaled about 2 tablespoons. The bread was the best thing on the table & saved me from starving. I have given this place 3 tries to impress me. In addition to mediocre food, the atmosphere is nothing special. Small square tables are not even large enough for 4 people & their meals. I was hoping this place would be somewhere I could go often as it is close to home. Too bad it just doesn’t measure up enough for a 4th visit.
