I always go to this Chipotle, but recently had my worst experience. Feels weird writing one of these, but I work at a customer-facing job and don’t find this acceptable. I was first greeted by an employee that just watched me wait for a good 3 minutes, saying somebody will be right with me when she wasn’t doing anything except for telling me somebody will be right with me. I will say the bowl I got was very good portion sizes, and I cannot complain about that, but it’s the fact that once I got to the register, I sat there for another 4 minutes just getting looked at again with a line building up at the register at this point. Then one of the normal register people that was working to go orders at the moment says to the manager, “Hey, can you help out the people at the register as she is sitting back there talking and laughing with another employee.” As somebody in the industry, I understand this happens sometimes; you get distracted in a conversation, but it’s the fact that whenever the to-go person told her that she, in a loud voice, goes “Ughhh, I know,” in a frustrated voice. Once again, I’ve lived here since I was born, and I’ve always come to this Chipotle and never had a problem like this, but I just couldn’t let this one go, especially it being the manager that made the biggest scene. I would’ve never wrote this if it was just the waiting at the start, but the Manager causing a scene at the register was just enough to push it to a bad review.
