Service was good and fast, maybe too fast.

The inconsistencies and mismanagement here are second to no other chick fil a that I’ve been to. Let’s start with the past week, coincidentally the last week of the Peach Milkshake (a personal favorite), and their ice cream machine has been down since Tuesday. Zero urgency from management or the team to get it resolved. Normally not the end of the world but since the location in Bee Caves is closed for remodeling it made it next to impossible to enjoy some last hurrah shakes before they were gone. Super disappointed. Now we’ve rolled into the new week with the S’mores shake and I can’t try that either. Their soda machine frequently goes out of commission as well (this last Friday being the most recent) and further speaks to ownerships inability to manage and plan for routine maintenance and fixes. Come on guys… maintain your equipment and leverage your relationships with providers to expedite fixes. Shouldn’t even be possible for a soda or ice cream machine at a behemoth like CFA to be out for more than 24hrs. My biggest gripe, however, is the inconsistency across the food. I order 2-5 egg white grill sandwiches a few times per week, and let me tell you if you show up and order more than 2 at a time it takes them 15-25 minutes to make them. I wait and I wait and I wait and I wait….. No matter how long it takes though there is very rarely any quality control or consistency applied to them… I’d say maybe 40% of the time they come out perfect (sometimes you’ll get one good one and 3 bad ones), but the rest of the time the muffins are overcooked/super crunchy or the chicken is rubbery. You may ask, well why do you keep going 2-3x per week and I guess it’s because when it hits it really does hit. That said I am exhausted with this place. They’ve also made it exponentially more difficult to get order issues corrected since there’s no longer a mechanism to do it within the app.
