  Bobby in the dry goods department needs a serious attitude adjustment or to be in a role that doesn’t require him to deal with clients directly. He acted so incredibly bothered when I asked about a specific item in the store I could not find. He then just waived his hand at the item on the shelf and said “ thats what we have” and went right back to stocking shelves barely acknowledging me. I asked because sometimes there are similar items in different parts of the store but god forbid a customer ask him for help.

  Wow, I LOVE Central Market. I could write a book... A few favorites: very very (not a typo!) blueberry muffins, chicken parm, italian meatballs, breakfast breads, recently -- butter chicken, cinnamon scone cookies ("s'cookies"). And so much more! A weak spot... while much of what comes out of the bakery is terrific, we've had a few full size cakes that were... uninspired.

  LOVE LOVE LOVE their mushroom selection and variety, as a Vegan🌱, this is like a paradise!, also I’m in love of the displays 😍… their chocolates, teas, coffees, flowers and bulk selection, are one of my favs!!!, they have so many 🙌 definitely one of my favorite grocery stores Austin ❤️ PS: I miss the old “Mushroom display”, that one was so beautifully made and so impressive 🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫

  It was just a few minutes before closing time and the majority of the delicious deli meats in the case had been put away for the night. I begrudgingly turned to walk away when the wonderful Iris stopped me and asked me what i needed. She promised it was no problem at all (although it was certainly an inconvenience) and proceeded to cut for me 2 of my favorite cuts to a thickness only a fervent professional such as herself would be capable of doing. Thank you for being awesome, Iris!

  03-20-25 My first experience here. And Daniel from the deli section was so nice and sweet and he helped us with our prosciutto selection and cheeses . We did buy his suggestions . I will definitely be back again. 🧀 —————————- Updated Review 08-07-26 ⭐☆☆☆☆ I’ve shopped at this Central Market location many times, but this visit was especially disappointing. While we were selecting produce, a curbside employee did say “excuse me,” but then proceeded to elbow her way directly in front of me while gathering items for an order. Saying “excuse me” doesn’t really mean much when you immediately push into someone’s space anyway. It came across as rushed, rude, and inconsiderate. The seafood counter experience was no better. The signage was misaligned with the items, which made it confusing to tell which description and price belonged to which product. When I pointed this out and asked for clarification, the employee spoke to me in a condescending manner, as though I were a child rather than a customer simply trying to understand the display. I’ve been to this location many times, so I know the experience can be better than this. But being treated with this level of disrespect by multiple employees during the same visit was enough to make me question whether I want to continue shopping here. I’ll gladly spend my money somewhere that treats customers with basic courtesy and respect.
