  I like this store and come here weekly. The staff has always been nice and very helpful and knowledgeable but the store needs better management. They don’t source some of the most basic food items like organic watermelon during the season or grass fed organic milk and yogurt. It’s hard to make it a full stop shopping. Their berries even in season are always those generic organic ones that are not good. Even Whole Foods has better berry options. They do have some harder to get items which is great but the store is just not managed properly to match the prices they charge for regular grocery items. Some of the produce I’ve purchased repeatedly have gone bad, had molds or were rotten at the bottom. Their cafe items are really bad both in quality and taste and wait time and their food buffet is sad looking. You’d expect this from a typical grocery store but not one of this caliber.

  THIS STORE HAS BEEN SELLING THE SAME DELI RECIPES, PACKAGED MEALS FOR 10 YEARS, THE PERSON IN CHARGE OF NEW RECIPES FOR PREPARED FOODS MUST BE WORKING FROM HOME OR JUST LAZY AND COLLECTING A PAYCHECK. I HAVE SPOKE TO OTHER PATRONS AND THEY SAY THE SAME THING, NOTHING CHANGES "EVER" AND THIS CENTRAL MARKET IS SURROUNDED BY CLINICS,HOSPITALS AND LOCAL EMPLOYEES LOOKING FOR A DECENT HEALTHY SIMPLE MEAL TO GO. EVERYTHING ELSE IS FINE, WE JUST NEED NEW MEALS TO CHOOSE FROM.( LIKE THIS POST IF YOU AGREE) LETS SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE WANT A CHANGE.

  Central Market is hands down one of the best grocery stores around! The selection, quality, fresh produce, bakery, prepared foods, and overall atmosphere are just on another level. You can tell they actually care about the quality of what they offer, and there’s always something new or interesting to discover. That being said… Pflugerville NEEDS a Central Market! 🙌🏼 There are so many families and growing neighborhoods in the Pflugerville area, and I truly think a location here would do incredibly well. Having to drive farther just to get that Central Market experience is the only downside. Please, Central Market , consider opening a location in Pflugerville! I promise you’d have plenty of customers ready to shop!!!!! 👌🏼

  August 2026 I have not stepped into this Central Market location in many years and was blasted how great it was. I wish my local H-E-B was this nice with the wonderful assortment of fresh foods for purchase. The staff working here is super friendly and the checkout process was much better. It was really cool they grew their own mushrooms.

  Got fresh chicken wings here and prepared and cooked them within 24 hours but they were already spoiled and had a tremendously off taste. Bought some chicken cheese hatch chile sausages during the hatch festival and the sausages had no cheese and were beyond dry cooking at a reasonable temperature. Aside from that, they were stuffed completely wrong. Having made sausage only a handful of times, even I could tell this was done by someone with zero clue. Enormous waste of money and time. Central Market tends to have higher quality raw items (most of the time) but the prepared food they make is beyond mediocre. It's surprising that this is the step up from HEB which consistently delivers much higher quality, and much safer, food.
