  Honestly the best supermarket in the world. I don’t even live in Austin and I look forward to coming just so I can visit central market 🤩 when you visit, don’t miss the amazing produce. The wall of apples. The wall of veggies. The mushrooms and the herbs and the tomatoes! The butcher counter is wonderful. The most helpful people! And omg the bulk section- I could spend hours in there… anything you can think of from lavender and harissa spices to hazelnut flour and basmati rice and chocolate covered pretzels. Also, get your freshly ground peanut butter - the best!!! Finally make your way through the cheeses organized by country (which I love!), the wines and beers, and then the bakery!!! Pick up some frozen croissants to bake at home, some bagels, a loaf of bread and ALWAYS some freshly made tortillas. I dream of these. Remember to grab some flowers as you’re checking out, and a cold drink for your drive home. You’re all done!

  We discovered this gourmet food market while shopping for ingredients for a holiday dinner, and the quality of the products immediately stood out. The store carried specialty cheeses, fresh breads, imported sauces, and prepared foods that were difficult to find elsewhere locally. Compared to traditional grocery stores, the selection here felt much more curated and upscale overall without becoming intimidating to shop in. Employees throughout the store were knowledgeable and offered genuinely helpful recommendations depending on what we were preparing. It’s become one of our favorite places whenever we want ingredients that make meals feel a little more special.

  Central Market. Excelente lugar para encontrar productos orgánicos. Tiene sus áreas muy bien definidas donde puedes encontrar verduras, suplementos, congelados, pescados, mariscos y carnes. Así como su área de vinos y botanas. Suficiente estacionamiento. No está muy concurrido en las noches y el personal es muy amable. Cuentan con clases de cocina con menús definidos por semana. Tienen su área de mesas al exterior y ciertos días música en vivo, donde te puedes sentar a disfrutar de comida o un café y escuchar el show. También un área con juegos para niños, cerca de las mesas al exterior.

  This was my first time to visit the Central Market, and I had a fun time! There were many interesting brands to examine and purchase - wines, cheeses, snacks, produce, baked goods, nuts - and it will be a treat to taste them over the next few days. I hope to shop at Central Market again some day.

  Central Market never fails to impress and this location is no exception. The store is a true paradise for anyone who loves high quality food. The produce section is vibrant and incredibly fresh, the cheese and deli counters are a dream and the selection of international and specialty products is unlike anything you will find in a regular grocery store. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely enthusiastic about the products they carry. Shopping here always feels like an enjoyable outing rather than a chore. Whether you are cooking a special dinner or just picking up everyday essentials, Central Market consistently delivers an experience that is a cut above the rest.
